Thank you so much for such a lovel...Hello, sweetie! Thank you so much for such a lovely, thought-through comment and the nice compliment. Your blog is so cute and so are you :)
As for hair loss – apart from the obvious malnutrition I have relatively little experience with it, even though – I’d also blame it on the change of the season, the weather, maybe stress or any other environmental impact.
After taking a good 2-3 month break, I do take a multivitamin and a fish oil capsule again daily (started last week), although that’s definitely a long term thing and not a quick fix. But vitamins A, B and E are really good for hair, as I’m sure you know already, considering your degree.
When I was smaller, my hair fell out noticeably and my mom got me this „Dzintara matu eļļa”, which is local and basically a hair oil made for rubbing into hair min 15-20 min before washing your hair. I don’t remember it doing wonders, but I have hear a lot about massaging oil into the scalp and using it on the hair also – the massage will help with the blod flow and circulation to feed the hair straits. Coconut oil is good, lavender, almond, or sesame oil etc. Speaking of fatty things, I’ve also read about a lot of at home treatments, that I’ve always wanted to try, but haven’t, because I’m downright lazy. Basically all the rich, dense foods are good for the hair – eggs, avocados, mayonnaise etc. I’d feel sorry wasting avocados (probably my favorite thing ever), but mayo could be an option. I’ve heard about green tea treatments also – all of these applied generously and left under a shower cap as long as overnight if necessary/optional.
And even though your diet is healthy, I’d personally probably up my protein intake adding more eggs, lean meat, fish, organic soy etc.
I’d also probably get extra careful with my hair for a while to see, if that makes a difference. I’d go heat free, avoid hair bands and even brushing, especially when the hair is wet and try not to rub the hair against towels, clothes, scarves etc.
Might sound pretty obvious and too general, but that’s honestly, what I’d do. I most likely wouldn’t start out by buying high end hair masks, sometimes it’s little tweaks, that does the trick. Hope it’s just a seasonal change for you! Good luck with the growing – we can do it! :) Please, let me know, if you try something.
Renatehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02073631158249015854noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2000482021178430598.post-29961451042053887362013-09-10T21:38:24.220+02:002013-09-10T21:38:24.220+02:00Long story, but I made it till the end :)
I have v...Long story, but I made it till the end :)
I have very thin hair too (blond) and I'm trying to let it grow (for the hundredth time). But I know that this time I will succeed, haha. Anyway, the last few months it seems that I'm starting to lose more hair, which frightens me (because I already have so little). It's not because of my diet because I've always been a healthy eater. Therefore I was wondering if you have any experience with hair masks or anything to keep the hair on the head :)
And by the way, you actually have beautiful hair! Seriously! No need to feel insecure.
I follow your blog now, very interesting posts! I'm always excited about food posts :)

Sofie x
http://littlegreensofie.blogspot.be/Sofiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17604085627070974258noreply@blogger.com
